WILL BURY AKERS TODAY

Body of Mining Engineer Killed in Collision Will be Interred in Rosedale Cemetery

Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock this morning at Rosedale chapel over the body of William A. Akers, a mining engineer who was fatally injured in a collision between his automobile and a Mateo street car on South Spring street Saturday night. Rev. Baker P. Lee will be in charge.

Manuel Garfias, the Mexican lad who was with Akers, was reported late last night to be resting easily at the French hospital. It is said that his recovery will be slow on account of the bad fracture to his left knee.
