US Congressman. Elected to represent Connecticut as At-Large in the United States House of Representatives, serving from 1835 to 1836. Also served as a member of the Connecticut State House of Representatives in 1816, 1822 to 1825, as a member of the Connecticut State Senate from 1830 to 1832, and as a Judge of the United State District Court for Connecticut in 1836.
