Edith, 88, of Ionia passed away Thursday in Ionia. She was the daughter of Roy and Mary (Van Slyke) Colley.
Edith graduated from Ionia Highschool in 1940. She married James Trueblood April 4, 1943 in Missouri. Edith enjoyed playing bridge with her friends and in past years enjoyed golf as well.
She is survived by her husband James Trueblood of Ionia. Sons; James Robert (Susie) Trueblood of Coloma, William Riley (Nancy) Trueblood of Ionia. Brother Howard Colley of Ionia. 3 Grandchildren Jason Trueblood of Grand Rapids, Lisa Trueblood of North Carolina and BJ Trueblood of Ionia. 5 Great grandchildren Madison, Amelia, Marie, Grace and Peter.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers and 1 sister.
Memorial Services were held Monday, July 25, 2011 at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia with Pastor Greg Gladding officiating.
