Mrs. Black was born in Marietta, GA and was a longtime resident of Etowah County.
She was a faithful member of Central Church of Christ and was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Brian F. Black and parents, James and Lucille Rasbury. She is survived by her children, Amy Black and Nick (Paige) Black, Grandchildren McKenzie and Kylie Black, brothers, Jimmy (Elaine) Rasbury and Ken (Linda) Rasbury, many nieces and nephews that she loved dearly. Pallbearers will be, Bob Statum, Ed Pesnell, Jerry Minor, Tony Songer, Fred Gielle, Alton Yancey, Buddy Akins and Gary Pruitt.
Loudine who was also known to most as "Lou" and was best known for her love for serving others her tasty cooking. It was Loudine's wishes to thank all her special friends for their love, support and assistance for many years. Visitation will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
