Bryan was born at Newcomb Hospital and raised in Hammonton, NJ by his two loving parents, Marie and James. His brother, Jim, later moved out to Illinois. He later met Ruth Haden, who later became his wife. He had two sons, Bryan Jr. and David, and later became very ill. He had many physical conditions as well as other health problems. On February 15, 2002, Bryan underwent a "paniculectamy" whereby his overhanging fatty tissue from his stomach was surgically removed. This later caused many infections. On February 9, 2003, Bryan was rushed from a rehab center to "Virtua Health" in Berlin, where he later died from blood clots in the lungs.
