Mrs. Lucie R. Martin, 62, was a resident of Ozark County all of her life.
Mrs. Martin was the daughter of the late Thomas and Lula Haskins Friend and was born on Oct. 21, 1900 at Isabella. She had lived at Pontiac before moving to Theodosia in 1947.
Mrs. Martin, was married on July 25, 1919 to Elmer Martin.
Mrs. Martin had four children: Arnold, Johnie, Bobby Dean and Tommie Eugene. Arnold and Tommie preceded her in death; She had three sisters, Mrs. Rainey Webster of Theodosia, Mrs. Lennie Ellison of Ava; Lura Friend; and six grandchildren, Patricia, Gary, Anita Giannuzzi, Ellen, Scott, and Jason. The funeral services were conducted by Allen Ledbetter of Ava and Elmer Wray of Theodosia (formerly Lutie)at the Salem Church and the burial was in the Lutie Cemetery.
