Hawkins received word this week that their nephew, Harry Romines, formerly of Memphis, was killed in action on Luzon, in the Philippines, on Feb. 14. Mrs. Romines and five sons moved to Los Angeles, Cal., in 1937, where they have made their home. Mrs. Hawkins was called to her sister's bedside upon receiving word of her son's death.
(Mrs. Romines, Harry's mother is Lou Ella Justice Romines and her sister was Mae Belle Justice Hawkins).
