Mary Elizabeth Alsbury passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. J. McCammon, 3400 Glen Albyn Drive, Los Angeles, California, April 1, 1934. She was born near Springfield, Illinois, and when quite young moved to Macon County which was her home until the death of her parents.
By procssion Miss Alsbury was a teacher. In 1918 she went to Arizona where she taught for several years, then she purchased a home at Los Angeles, California, and retired.
Christian Science funeral services were conducted at the Cresse Funeral Home at Los Angeles, April 3, 1934, interment at Inglewood Park cemetery.
Miss Alsbury leaves one brother, J. H. Alsbury, of Maroa, Illinois, and one sister, Mrs. W. J. McCammon, Los Angeles, California.
