Norma L. Fry, a resident of Porterville, passed away there on May 9th, 2010. She was born on December 13,1924 in Durant Oklahoma. She was 85 years old.
Norma was born to John (JE) and Laura Wheeler. She lived in Delano and Porterville for 75 years.
She is survived by her sone, Dale Fry, her three grandchildren, Julie Krohmer, Susie Spann and Tiffany Smith; three great-grandchildren, Jennifer Krohmer, Jacob Krohmer, and Brandon Spann, one nephew, Donald Wheeler, niece, Sherill Reed and many friends and church family.
Norma was a member of the Church of Christ for many years. Her and her late husband, Carl V. Fry, owned a furniture store in Delano for 15 years. Norma also liked to travel, garden and sing.
A viewing will be held at Myers Chapel on Wednesday, May 12, 2010 from 2pm-4pm. A graveside services will be held at Hillcrest Memorial Park on Thursday May 13, 2010 at 10:00am. Meyers Funeral Service in Porterville is in charge of arrangements.
