Natchez, Miss., Aug. 7 - Mr. John O'Brien, the eldest son of Captain James O'Brien, died at a late hour last night, at the age of 21 years. He was a victim of consumption, and had long suffered from the ailment. Captain O'Brien, father of the deceased, has been connected with the river interests for more than forty years, and was known to nearly all steamboatmen from St. Louis and Pittsburg to New Orleans."
