Marrella E. Anderson, 67, of Eyota, died Sunday (Oct. 6, 1991) at her home after a 1-year illness with cancer.

Born Marrella E. Bicknese Nov. 10, 1923, in rural Chatfield, where she grew-up. She later married Gordon Anderson March 30, 1948, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Chatfield. The couple farmed in the Eyota area for 35 years and lived in the city of Eyota for the last seven years. Mrs. Anderson was a homemaker, as well as working at Camera Arts in Lewiston for 20 years.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a son, Alan ``Andy'' of Rochester; two daughters, Gail (Mrs. Roger) Boelman of Stewartville, and Rita Anderson of Rochester; three grandchildren; a brother, Ervin Bicknese of Eyota; and a sister, Lorraine (Mrs. Lyle) Meeker of Chatfield. A twin brother preceded her in death.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church with the Rev. Clark Jaeger officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Riley Funeral Home in Chatfield and one hour before the service at the church.
