Mr. Eckersley, pastor of the Newville Methodist church, conducted funeral services yesterday over the remains of the late Mrs. Jacob Landis, who died Wednesday afternoon at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. William Snow, near Newville, aged 71 years. Messrs. Baker, Hemminger, Boyd and Neidigh were pallbearers. The remains were interred in the Newville cemetery. Relatives from this city attended.
