Harriett had 2 daughters, Donna (Stokes) and Janet (Lockhart) both still living. She had 3 grandchildren, Cheryl, Karol and Buster and 5 great grand children, Krystal, Kaci, Michael, Ashley & Mandy.
She loved to crochet, play golf, & UNO and watch golf or tennis. She was WOMAN OF THE YEAR in Richmond around 1977. She adored her family and loved spending time with them.

"Harriett E. Hinshaw, 78 of Richmond died 17 Aug 1995 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born 23 Oct 1916 in Darke County, OH to William Sherman Harris and Lucille (Snyder) Harris. She lived in Williamsburg and Richmond all of her life. She retired from the Holiday Inn after working there as assistant manager. She attended the Univ. of IL. She is a former member of Zonta National Assn. of Accountants, ABWA Rose City Chapter and Forest Hills Country Club. She was a member of First Friends Meeting. She is preceded in death by her husband George Hinshaw who died in 1969. Survivors include: two daughters, Donna Stokes of Hagerstown and Janet Lockhart of Connersville; three grandchuildren, six great-grandchildren. Burial was in Earlham Cemetery.
