Professional Football Player. He played defensive end for the Los Angeles Dons, and for the Cleveland Browns from 1950 to 1957, and Green Bay Packers in 1958. He also played for the University of Michigan. He caught 67 passes while with the Los Angeles Dons, learned altered defense moves and had great pass rushing skills. He overcame serious injuries in 1950 and earned NFL honors from 1951 to 1955. He played in four Pro-Bowls and received 20 opponents. He was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1976.
