CARBONDALE -- Keith D. Aaron, 47, formerly of Herrin, died Tuesday, July 19, 2011, in Carbondale.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 30, in Cambria First Apostolic Church, with the Rev. R.H. Chitwood officiating. Burial will be in Herrin City Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Cambria First Apostolic Church or to the Aaron family. Envelopes will be available at the church or at the funeral home.
Keith was born Oct. 7, 1963, in Herrin to Iretta (Meadows) Aaron.
He is survived by three sisters and brother-in-law, Darla and Chuck Stewart of West Frankfort, Charletti Smith of Herrin, and Pam Hartman of North Carolina; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jerry Brown of Lake of Egypt and Jim and Leslie Aaron of Cambria; his companion, Mary Jo McCormick of Carbondale; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother; one brother, Lee Aaron; and grandparents, Jack and Pearl Meadows.
He worked as an automotive technician.
Keith enjoyed being outdoors, going camping, and fishing, but most of all, spending time with his friends.
