CLAXTON, Ga., Dec 5 ~ Mrs. W. L. Grice, 79, died Wednesday morning at a local hospital after a short illness.
Survivors are her husband, W. L. Grice; two daughters, Mr. J. A. Blocker, Brunswick and Mrs. A. J. Anderson, Savannah; two sons, Otis Grice, Register, and Herschel Grice, Claxton; three sisters, Mrs. Cora Sutton, Claxton; Mrs. Ida Whitter, and Mrs. Ruby DeLoach, Savannah; 17 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2:30 p.m. at Beard's Creek Church near Glennville conducted by Elder Ivey Spivey and Elder Gilbert Cribbs. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The body will be at the funeral home until an hour before services when it will be taken to church.
Pallbearers will be Jack DeLoach, Jim Griner, Archie Sutton, Robert Whitten, Ellis Bradley, Martin E. Glisson.
