John Stahl, Sr., 95, resident of Spencer, died Saturday, July 15, 2006 at Owen Valley Health Campus.
Born July 28, 1910 in Oblong, Illinois, he was the son of John Walter and Clara Belle (Cramer) Stahl.
He was a farmer, a union carpenter and a member of the Freedom Nazarene Church.
Survivors include one son and a daughter-in-law, John,Jr. and Chris Stahl; two grandsons, four great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Maude A. (Neill) Stahl; and two sisters, Geneva Gentry and Waldean Story.
Services were held Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at West & Parrish & Pedigo Funeral Home in Spencer. Pastor Chris Breeden officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery.
