GIBBS, Joe Taylor "Pete," of 2220 Ave B, passed away in his sleep November 13. Survivors include his mother, Mrs. C. T. [Maxie Lou] Gibbs, with whom he made his home, and the following sisters and brothers: Mrs. Jewell Cleek of Sweeny; Mrs. Grace Glauser and Irene Hale of San Antonio; William Gibbs of Cameron; Mrs. Morris Richardson and Harrell Gibbs of Bay City; Coleman of Leesville, La.; Elmer of Marble Falls; Kenneth Gibbs of Houston and Doris Cockburn of Tucson, Ariz. Also, a number of nieces and nephews survive. Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:00 p. m. at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home. Reverend W. D. Baker, of the First Baptist Church, will officiate and interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Park. Arrangements made by Taylor Brothers Funeral Home.
