Mary Irvine is the daughter of Abraham "Abram" Irvine and Sarah Graham. She married Hamilton Eskridge on April 5, 1831 in Rutherford County, North Carolina, and they had at least four children. She died of Bronchitis at age 53 She also has at least eight siblings..

Prior to marrying Hamilton Eskridge, she had a daughter, Marjorie Susannah Irvine, born about 1830 in Rutherford County, NC, married William Magness in about 1845, and died 8 Feb 1912 in Morganton, NC.
