The Southern Illinoisan Tuesday February 10, 1981 Ossie Park

Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Russell Funeral Home in Christopher for Ossie Park, 82, of 407 Sylvester Ave., Christopher, who was dead on arrival Sunday, Feb. 8, 1981, at Franklin Hospital in Benton. Burial will be in Harrison Cemetery in Buckner. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Park had been a resident of Franklin County for 62 years. She was born Aug. 1, 1898, in Centerville Tenn., to Joseph and Martha Mitchell Gulley. Her husband, Waldo Park, preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Geneva Wozniak of Dearborn Mich., Netta Payne of Buckner and Beulah Clapper of Livonia, Mich.; three sons, Eugene Browning of Harper Woods, Mich., Wilferd Browning of Milford, Mich., and Russell Browning of Johnston City; 24 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and a sister, Ada Phillips of Buckner.
