Obituary from the Terre Haute Tribune Monday September 9, 1940

Elizabeth Hamilton

Funeral services for Elizabeth Hamilton, 70 years old, 1610 Fifth Avenue, who died at 12:05 o'clock Saturdayafternoon at Union Hospital, will be held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at Trinity Methodist Churc, Nineteenth Street and Fourth Avenue with the Rev. H.S. Davis officiating. Burial will be in Highland Lawn cemetery. The body was taken to the H. P. Martin Funeral Home and Monday noon will be removed to the residence. Hyacinth Temple of the Pythian Sisters will hold services at 8 o'clock Tuesday evening at the residence.

Survived by one son, William Hamilton; one grandson, two sisters, Mrs Anna Hamilton of Terre Haute and Mrs Kate Myrick of New Mexico. The deceased was a member of Alma. Rebekah lodge, Hyacinth Temple of Pythian Sisters and Celedonia Society.
