She was the daughter of the late Claude Powers and Irene Adkins Powers, and is survived by second husband, George Lee Bowen; sister, Mary Tate of Hudson, Ohio; brother, Tom Powers of Nashville, Tenn.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. May 21, 2005, at South Barberton Ohio Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses, 5838 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd., Barberton, Ohio.
