Born Sept. 11, 1921 in Juniata, Blair County she was the daughter of the late Harry A. and Mary Jane (Montz) Wolfinger. She was preceded in death by her husband David L. Brown on June 1, 1991.
Margaret is survived by her children, Susan J. Phillips and husband Lynn, Lewistown, Thomas E Brown and wife Linda, Lewistown and Robert W. Brown, Lewistown; grandchildren, Stacy L. Reed and husband Ryan, David L. Phillips, Kylie A. Wray and husband Corey, and Kristen E. Phillips; great grandchildren, Mina Elizabeth Phillips and Dylan Patrick Wray.
She was preceded in death by an infant son Richard David Brown, seven brothers and three sisters.
She was a graduate of Altoona High School Class of 1939.
Margaret was a member of St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church where she was a member of the Women of ELCA, Ruth-Naomi Circle, Piecemakers, a former member of the Chancel Choir and a former choir member. She was also a vounteer for the Mifflin County Historical Society.
