A homemaker and a resident of Addis, she passed away Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at The Retirement Center. She was 84 and a native of Plaquemine. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, on Friday, July 29, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting continues at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church on Saturday, July 30, from 8 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Joey Aguilar, celebrant. Interment in Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. Survived by three sons, Ernest Andrew Bezet Jr. and wife Lisa, Lester Francis Bezet and Steven Joseph Babin; a sister, Veronica Berthelot; three grandchildren, Jared and Rachel Bezet, and Blake Boyette; and three great-grandchildren, Remy, Dane and Campbell Bezet. Preceded in death by her first husband, Earnest Andrew Bezet Sr.; second husband, Stone James Babin; and parents, Lester Joseph and Olive Templet LaBauve. She was a loving mother, sister and friend.
