Eliza Lundberg Woodruff, 83, died July 30, 1996, at the Bear River Valley Hospital in Tremonton, Utah.

She was born on October 13, 1912, in Wellsville, Utah, the daughter of Moroni and Charlet Pricilla George Lundberg.

She married Leland Owen Woodruff on November 23, 1931 in Brigham City, Utah. Their marriage was solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple on March 17, 1936. Leland died on December 30, 1983.

She lived in South Tremonton, Utah. She was a 1931 Bear River High School graduate.

She and her husband owned and operated a farm in East Tremonton where they had resided for many years.

She was a member of the Riverview LDS Ward. She served in the past as a Teacher in the Primary, Sunday School and Relief Society. She was also a Visiting Teacher.

Surviving are three sons and one daughter and their spouses, Ivan Lee and Carol Ann Woodruff, Brigham City, Utah; Dale and Renee Woodruff, East Tremonton, Utah; Gary and Sonja Woodruff, Alpine, Utah; Colleen Wood, Tremonton, Utah; 18 grandchildren and 55 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving are two sisters, Anna Heaton, Roy, Utah; Verna John, Temonton, Utah.


She was preceded in death by two sisters, Vera John and and Ruth Stallings, two grandsons, Jeff and John Woodruff.

Burial was held in the Elwood Cemetery, Elwood, Utah.
