Mrs. Alvina Lenz, 72, of 1032A S. 10th St., Manitowoc, died shortly before noon Monday at the home following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Liberty, with the Rev. Samuel Kugler officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
The former Alvina Kattre was born May 13, 1886, in the Town of Rockland, daughter of the late William and Marie Maass Kattre. She was married to Carl Lenz, Sept. 27, 1906. He died in 1944 and 13 years ago, Mrs. Lenz came to Manitowoc.
Surviving are three daughters, Miss Helma Lenz, Mrs. Werner Kieselhorst and Mrs. Markus Neuser of Manitowoc, three sons, Carl of Rt. 1, Kiel, Edward of Manitowoc and Norman of Rt. 1, Walders; 14 grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Friends may call at Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Wednesday and after 11 a.m. Thursday at the church where the body will be in state.
