Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, where she was a member, with the Rev. Kenneth Reaves, the Rev. Bob Pratt and the Rev. Fred Reece officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
She was a native of Tazewell County, Ill., and a homemaker.
Surviving are husband, Robert L. Batson of the home; daughters, Rebecca Edmondson and Bobbie Adams, both of Randleman, Sandra Johnson of Asheboro, Patsy York of Sophia; sister, Louise Cone of Asheboro; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
The family will be at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman, 7-9 p.m. Wednesday, other times at the home.
