Gary Lee Bancroft, 58, of Westminster, died Friday, Sept. 25, 2009, at Anne Arundel Medical Center. Born June 26, 1951, in Franklin, Pa., he was the son of the late Harold Eugene and Mildred Marie Patton Bancroft. He was the husband of Roxanne Fowble Bancroft, his wife of 34 years. He was a 1969 graduate of Westminster High School. He served in the Navy in Vietnam on the U.S.S. Forrestal. He was a master electrician who worked as an estimator for Power Solutions and was a member of International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local No. 24. He enjoyed golfing, collecting coins, the Ravens, traveling and driving his Corvette. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are son and daughter-in-law Mike and Jenn Bancroft, of Manchester; daughter Michele Bancroft and fiancé Doug Wolfe, of Westminster; sister and brother-in-law Kay and Larry Fogle, of Westminster; granddaughters Ashlyn, Kensi and Addison

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday and from 2 to 4 and 6 p.m. until the time of service, 7 p.m. Tuesday at Fletcher Funeral Home, 254 E. Main St., Westminster, with the Rev.
