WAHOO, NE - Funeral services for Lance Corporal Randy Abbott Jr., 20, of Twentynine Palms, California formerly of Wahoo, will be 5 p.m. Saturday at Ericson-Pruss Funeral Home, Wahoo. He died of multiple injuries suffered in an automobile accident, Sat., Oct. 8, 1988, at Twentynine Palms, California. He was born July 22, 1968, at Lincoln. He grew up in Wahoo and lived there until joining the U.S. Marines Corps in 1985. Survivors include his parents Randy and Kathy Abbott Sr., Wahoo, one brother, Shawn and one sister, Saundra, both of Wahoo, grandparents, Robert and Joan Abbott, and Donald and Bonnie Arney, all of Wahoo and great-grandmother Emma Swanson, Syracuse. Burial will be at Sunrise North Cemetery, Wahoo. Graveside military services will be conducted by Veterans of Foreign Wars Beaver-Bartek Post No. 4502 and American Legion Post No. 82, both of Wahoo. Flag presentation will be made by the U.S. Marine Corps.
