GIRL HURT IN FALL
The four-year(sic)-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Stout of Cheyenne received a broken arm Sunday evening when she fell from feed trough while her parents were doing the evening milking. She was brought to an Elk City hospital Sunday evening for treatment.

Funeral services for Marie Jean Hayes will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 28, 2004 at the Martin Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend T. D. Gilfford officiating. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery under the direction of the Martin Funeral Home of Elk City.
Marie Jean Hayes was born April 3, 1931 in Elk City, Oklahoma to Jim. B. and Marie "Damron" Stout and passed away Saturday December 25, 2004 at the age of 73.
She was raised on a farm near Herring, Oklahoma and later moved to Berlin, Oklahoma where she graduated from High School. She was married and had two children. Upon her divorce, she moved to Oklahoma City and went to work in the Insurance industry where she retired from HRH Insurance in 1997, after 45 years in the business. She enjoyed traveling with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her father; sister; and granddaughter.
She is survived by her mother, Marie Stout of Elk City; one son, Timmy McClellan and wife, Lou of Elk City; one daughter, Nina Younger of Amarillo, Texas; two grandchildren, Patty Broome of Ada, Oklahoma and Matt McClellan of Elk City; three great grandchildren; numerous aunts, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
