MRS. LONA COWELL
Funeral services for Mrs. Lona Bernice Cowell who died Thursday evening, at her home near Wana will be held at the Wana Methodist Church 2:30 p.m. EDT Sunday.
Mrs. Cowell was born in Monongalia County Oct. 30, 1891, a daughter of Newton and Julian Barker Lough. She married A. R. Cowell June 12, 1915.
Surviving are her husband; five children, Carl of Bradford, Pa., Arthur, Albert, Alberta, and Thomas; her parents; four sisters, and two brothers, Mrs. Grance Donley of Bald Hill, Pa., Mrs. Stella Taylor of Michigan, Mrs. Ruth Johnston, Fairmont, Mrs. Beulah Runner, Pittsburg, Pa., and Virgil and Claude Lough of Laurel Point.
She was a member of the Methodist Church and she was stricken ill two weeks ago while teaching her Sunday School class. Interment will be at the Wadestown cemetery.
