DIED.
At the residence of A. G. Smith, Esq., in this city, on the 17th inst., of typhoid fever, LEONARD L. YOUNG, aged 25 years.
The deceased has been a resident of this place for some two years past; and was employed as a clerk when taken sick, almost a week since, in the house of Smith & McCoskell. He was a member of the Methodist Church, in good standing, and universally esteemed as an examplary and worthy young man, by all who knew him. His body was taken up the river this morning to be interred at Boston, where his friends and relatives reside. He had no parents living.
