Jack spent his last 25 years in Elk Grove, CA. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Betty) and his children & grandchildren: John & Aciu, Kathleen, Jackie & Steve, David, Johnnie, Melodee, & Carlene; and his cousins Joe, Gail, & Niki. He was preceded in death by his grandson, Philip.
Jack's life will be celebrated at a private residence July 31, 2011.

Jack is buried next to his grandson, Philip James McCarthy.
