Oscar Stanley (Sonny) Blackburn Jr., 66, was born on May 8th, 1945 in Tacoma WA. He passed away peacefully in his home surrounded by family, in Silverdale WA on July 29th, 2011.

He is survived by his wife M, daughter , son , three grandchildren , sister, brother , and his mother. Left names out for privacy.
Sonny was a veteran of the Vietnam War, and retired from the Bremerton Naval Shipyard and Air National Guard.

Family was extremely important to Sonny. He especially enjoyed spending time in the mountains with family, camping, hunting, and riding ATV's. He also loved muscle cars and going to the races with his son.

There will be a celebration of his life at a later date, and his ashes will be spread in a special place he loved in the Cascade Mountains. He will be dearly missed. Arrangements entrusted to Miller-Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park
