Mr. Ammons, born in Cumberland County, was the son of Kelly Jackson Ammons, Sr and Terrie Morris Ammons. He was a self employed carpenter.
He is survived in addtition to his parents, a son, Ethan Kelly Jackson Ammons, III, a brother, Brett Morris of Fayetteville, a sister, Stephanie Ammons of South Carolina, his grandparents, Alfred and Sandra Morris of Fayetteville, a nephew, Kalib Morris and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family of Kelly Jackson Ammons, Jr., c/o Crumpler-Honeycutt Funeral Home, 118 Fayetteville Street, Clinton, NC 28328.
Memorial services were held at 2pm, Friday, July 1, 2011 at New Jerusalem Worship Center, 429 McKoy Street, Clinton, NC, with the Rev. James Goodman officiating.
Burial was made in the New Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Clinton, NC.
