WASHINGTON - Mrs. Charlotte Choate, 73, wife of Raymond M. Choate, died at her home here on Monday.
A native of Washington, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Dart and was born Feb. 17, 1896.
She was a past member of the Washington Grange and the VFW Auxiliary.
Besides her husband of Washington, Mrs. Choate is survived by three sons, Earl Prescott of Middleton, Mass., Clyde Prescott and Carl Prescott, both of Willimantic, Conn., one daughter, Mrs. Lucille Leigh of Washington,; a half-sister, Mrs. Alice Turner of Waldoboro; 24 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Razorville Chapel in Washington, with Rev. Winifred Rynolds of Winthrop officiating. Interment will be at Marr Cemetery, Washington.
