Ed had married Mary Coppler,they had 5 children,Sandra,"Sandy",Ricky ,"Rick",Connie Bloomfield,(Daivd Bloomfield)both of Lima,Dasiy(James "Jim" Metzger)of Harrod,Johnny,(Bonnie Ball)of Lima,survives included his wife Mary "Coppler"Davis & their children, Sandy,Rick,Connie,(David)Bloomfield,Dasiy(James)Johnny(Bonnie Ball)and a lot of grandchidren,Ed was a real jokester,loved to tell jokes,he also loved to fish up on Lake Erie,Mi.playing golf,watching Ohio State on T.V.playing pool & was in pool tournaments,winning a lot of the pool tournaments with his team mates...Ed had worked a many years at Fritchie Asphalt & Paving Co.Everyone alaways teased Ed and told Ed that one day that he was going to died at work,and he told them that they were just jokeing with him!! But on the morning of Aug 11,93 he was working on one of the trucks at work,and the secretary,went and checked on Ed thats when she found Ed was gone,he had an heart attack...and she called 9-1-1,
and when Mr.Fritchie had came to work & she had told Mr.Fritchie what had happened to Ed,that she was going to quite her job,because she had found Ed.And everyone has said that Fritchie's is not the same without Ed not being there anymore...Ed was preceded in death by a grandson Justin Davis & a granddaughter Madeline Rose Byrd,and his in laws Harry & Nellie "Williams" Coppler,also his parents Mr. & Mrs. Davis,and his brother Paul Davis....
