Miss Minnie M. Barkdull, sister of L.P. Barkdull, of the L.P. Barkdull Cotton Company, died Thursday night at 9:30 oclock at St. Edwards Infirmary.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 4 o'clock from the Barkdull home , 415 South Nineteenth Street. Dr. W.W. Harrison, pastor of First Presbyterian church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in Forest Park. The pallbearers will be H.C. Read, A.L. Peacher, E. B. Hempstead, J.H. Carnahan, T.B. Pryor and A.H. Carter.

Miss Barkdull was a native of Jackson, LA. She had resided in Fort Smith for 32 years. She was a member of First Presbyterian church. Besides her brother, L.P. Barkdull, Miss Barkdull leaves one sister, Mrs. Louise Aubrey, of Little Rock. Mrs Aubrey arrived Thursday morning in response to a message announcing her sisters critical condition. Miss Barkdull had been in ill health for several months. Her condition became serious three weeks ago.
