Mrs. Joachim Schnell, a pioneer resident of the county, died at the home of her son, Fred Schnell, Sr., last Saturday. The funeral was held today with services at the Liberty Lutheran church at 11 o'clock this morning and burial was made at Evergreen. Mrs. Schnell was born in Germany March 22, 1836 and would have celebrated her eighty-eighth birthday anniversary tomorrow, had she lived. She is survived by two sons, Fred Sr., with whom she made her home and Louis of Manitowoc and two daughters, Mrs. August Liesmann of Liberty and Mrs. Frank Pleuss of Manitowoc Rapids.
