PONTIAC: Services for William A. Hines, 85, who died recently in Peoria, IL, will be held at 3 p, m, Sunday at the Behrendt Funeral Home with the Rev. J. F. Long, of the Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mr. Hines was born May 20, 1868, in Grundy County, IL. He attended Grand Prairie Seminary at Onarga, IL. He moved here in 1897 where he was employed at the Pontiac Prison as an electrical engineer.
He married Miss Ruby Spellman who died in 1934. He then married his sister-in-law, Miss Pearl Spellman September 17, 1934, in Chicago, IL.
Surviving are his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Maurine Schneider, CA; three brothers, Frank, OH; Lee, CA; Fred, OK. A son, William S., a brother, and a sister preceded him in death.
Mr. Hines was a member of the Methodist Church.
