The speakers were Elders W.H. Carruth, J.E. Pettit, W.H. Branch and M. W. Taylor. The singing was furnished by the ward choir under the direction of Chorister J.E. Carruth. J.H. Taggert rendered a solo. The casket was covered with beautiful flowers contributed by loving friends of the young man. Thirty teams followed to the cemetery, the funeral being one of the largest ever held in Coalville.
