The body will remain at Pritchard Funeral home in Windfall until 1 p. m. Monday, when it will be taken to the church. Mrs. Russell was born, Feb. 5, 1867, at Flat Rock.
Her parents were William and Amilla (Bullard) Newton. She
moved to the Windfall community with her parents while still a small child. Her first husband was Frank VanDoren, who died several years ago. She later married Joe Russell, also deceased. Mrs. Russell was a member of Hazel Dell church and the Floral society. Surviving are two sons, Otto VanDoren and Tracy VanDoren, both of near Windfall; one brother George Newton, of Elwood; and a sister, Mrs. Emma Fields, of Whiteland.
