We believe his parents to be--

Samuel Adams, 1802-1855. South Carolina to TN.

"According to DNA [done in April 2011] his Adams' is Eastern European & may have immigrated here in the early 1800's. We've found links to Sevier Co., TN with the Cook family who he has DNA matches with, but other than that, Samuel Adams seems to be a mystery."

"On all of Samuel Henry Clay Adam's census records he lists his parents as from SC. The only SC Adams we found in Giles Co was Samuel & Mary (Polly). We've only found 1 or 2 documents with Samuel's name on it as a witness to property sales." Calvin & Marilyn Whittemore Adams

Family help needed to retrace the Adams line. Possibly a Scotch-Irish-English to South Carolina to Tennessee migration pattern.

Mary Polly Brittain, 1817-aft 1870, South Carolina -Limestone County, AL. We need family help discerning who her parents were, please.
