Ellsworth reporter March 21, 1907:

Died
At his home in this city on Monday morning. March 1907 at 12:15 o'clock, David Worden Cramer (see note) aged 86 years 5 months and 15 days. Mr Cramer was born Sepetember 2nd 1820 in Herkimer County, N.Y. six miles from Cramer's Corners. Early in life he moved to Michigan; thence to Illinois, and later to Kansas making his home in Ellsworth County. Prior to his coming to this state he had married and had two children; a son and a daughter, both wife and daughter dying many years ago. His son Lewis Cramer is married and resides in Otsego, Michigan. Mr. Cramer was married January 13, 1873 to Mrs. Mary Hall of Ellsworth who survives him. Mr. Cramer's daily life was that of a sincere Christian honest and upright man, and just in dealings with his fellow men. A Son of a Veteran of the Civil War he took pride in his membership in the Sons of Veterans in this city. When the Parish of the Holy Apostles was organized in Ellsworth under Bishop Griswold, Mr. Cramer who had been identified with it as a Mission was appointed its Senior Warden, which office he held at the time of his death. For many years he was the Superintendent of its Sunday School until failing health forced him to give up his duties with it. End of years he has been called from his earthly labors leaving behind him a sorrowing widow and numerous friends, including the Reporter, who will ever hold his memory in respect.
The funeral services took place Tuesday afternoon at the church of the Holy Apostles, Rev. L. R. Benson officiating after which the remains were taken to the Ellsworth Cemetery. When the services at the grave were concluded. The Sons of Veterans then took charge of the remains. Many members of there camp and of Ellsworth Post 22 G.A.R and of the Knights of Pythins attended the funeral services as a mark of respect to the deceased.

Note: Name is incorrect in the article. Historically, David and Daniel are interchangable. Verifing it is Daniel by death record and cemetery records. He has used David before when his first wife died on her cemetery records. Census records vary on the age of Daniel by many years.
