William Paul "Bill" Axton 69 of Garland departed this life July 30, 2011. He was born July 23, 1942 in Idabel, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph and mother, Dillard; brothers, Roger and Joe, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Shirley; daughters, Angela (Ron) Russo, Melissa Axton and Michelle (Brian) Kelly. He was grandpa to Peyton, Kiersten, Zachary Russo; Kaden Axton; Teagen and Isla Kelly. After 38 years, he retired from Texas Instrument/Raytheon in October 2010. Visitation will be August 3 at Restland Funeral Home from 6-8:00PM. Funeral services to be held at 10AM, August 4 in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland with burial following service.
