Mrs. Lee R. Beatty Dies
Mrs. Belle F. Beatty, age 77, wife of Lee R. Beatty, of Loma, passed away in Great Falls last Tuesday afternoon, following an extended illness.
Mrs. Beatty was born in Paducah, Kentucky, on Oct. 6, 1862, where she grew to womanhood and resided until June 1921, when she came west to Montana and on the 17th of that month was united in marriage at Billings to Lee R. Beatty. They established a home at Loma, where they have since resided. She had been a lifelong and faithful member of the Presbyterian church and was loved by all who knew her.
She leaves to mourn her passing her husband, Lee R. Beatty; two daughters by a former marriage, Mrs. Mae E. Settle, Detroit, Mich., and Mrs. Mattie L. Manley, Delta, Colo.; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and other relatives and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held from the Christian church in this city Friday afternoon, conducted by Rev. Dan Brown, pastor of the church. Interment was made in Riverside cemetery.
The relatives have the sympathy of all in their bereavement.
