Bill G Ullom, 84, of Indianapolis, passed away Saturday, Dec 26, 2009,
at Lawrence Manor Healthcare Center in Indianapolis.

Bill was born Jan 20, 1925 in Muncie, (IN) to the late Gerald and Lillian Ullom.
He graduated from Royerton High School in 1942 and attended Ball State University.

He was a US Navy veteran, serving during World War II.

He worked as traffic manager at Durham Manufacturing, managed Burkie's Drive-In and was a salesman at AB Dick Office Supplies.

He was a Boy Scout and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars and enjoyed spending time with his family.

Bill is survived by two daughters: Cathy Morton (husband Tom) of Greenwood and Karen Staggs (husband Keith) of Springport; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Bill was preceded in death by his wife, JoAnne (Burke) Ullom in 1988; and a brother, Wiley Ullom.

A graveside military service will be scheduled at a later date and will be conducted by Veterans of Delaware County Honor Guard. Interment will follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be given to the family in care of Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W Kilgore Ave, Muncie, IN 47304, which is handling arrngements.
