KATHERINE JACKSON
Katherine Estella Jackson, 86, 601 S. Eddy, died Wednesday, Oct. 18, 1995 at Medicalodge of Fort Scott. She was born Feb. 4, 1909, in Fort Scott, the daughter of John Riley and Kate Ward Harris. She married LC Jackson on Aug. 31, 1926, in Nevada, Mo. He died May 8, 1974. Mrs. Jackson had worked for Western Insurance Companies. She was a member of the First Christian Church and was a past worthy matron of Olive Chapter No. 13, Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Virginia C. Keal, Overland Park, and Sarah K. Jackson, Independence, Mo.; one son, Robert E. Jackson, 601 S. Eddy; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in the death by three sisters, Ardelia Moore, Jenny Harris and Freeda King; and one great-grandson.
Pastor Jim Lidberg will conduct graveside services at 11 a.m. Saturday in Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Konantz-Cheney Funeral Home.
