Dorothy J. Lutze, 67, of Valders, died Saturday morning, February 17, 1990, at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Liberty. Rev. Robert Schultz will officiate with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Lutze was born November 24, 1922, at Sheboygan, daughter of the late Frederick and Olga Schmidt Klaft. She was a graduate of Sheboygan Centra High School. She was formerly employed by R-Way Furniture of Sheboygan, Veri-Fine Dairy of Sheboygan, The Lakeland Egg Co-op of Valders, Levernz Shoe Company of Valders and later for Dr. John Thranow of Valders, retiring in 1985. She married Randall Olm on June 24, 1944. He preceded her in death March 21, 1952. She later married Milton Lutze on February 27, 1954, at Newtonburg. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Liberty, Trinity Ladies Aide and a volunteer at Trinity School.
Survivors include her husband, Milton; two sons and daughters-in-law, Keith and Gail Olm of Valders, Warren and Pamela Lutze of Valders; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Ralph Retzlaff of Oakfield, Wisconsin and Katharine and Thomas Strethmann of Manitowoc; a brother, Frederick Klaft Jr. of Sheboygan; a sister and brother-in-law, Corinne and Roland Peterson of Sheboygan and seven grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by a sister-in-law.
Friends may call at Trinity Lutheran Church, Town of Liberty, 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday until the time of service. Memorials would be appreciated to Manitowoc Lutheran High School or Trinity Lutheran Church. Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, Valders, is serving the family.
