She was born on May 29, 1915 in Greenfield Township, to the late Marion and Orpha Prindle Doolittle.
Beatrice graduated from North East High School and then took several short term classes in typing, speed writing, and bookkeeping. She attended over the years both the St. Paul's Lutheran Church and the Greenfield Baptist Church. She was employed at several companies for 23 years, including Hill and Hill Engineers, Worster Motor Lines, Sunshine Packing, Welch's, and several part-time jobs. Beatrice enjoyed painting, poetry, collecting antiques, reading, genealogy, and loved butterflies. She also was a volunteer for a number of years with Income Tax for the Elderly.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Carlton Ahrens (2005) and a son-in-law, James Rudesill.
Beatrice is survived by a daughter, Sheila Rudesill of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; a close nephew, David Woods and wife, Darlene, of Ripley, N.Y.
Interment Grahamville Cemetery.
